Recipe: The Anti Cellulite Soap Bar

The Anti Cellulite Soap Bar

I’m sure most of you have tried or purchased expensive anti-cellulite creams, lotions or soaps. Why not make your own Anti-Cellulite treatment? Did you know your morning coffee grounds can become your new best friend? By adding CAFFEINATED coffee grounds to any of our soap bases, lotions or creams you can say goodbye to cellulite. Why spend hundreds of dollars on expensive department store products, when you can make your own natural products at a fraction of the cost?

Cellulite, which basically looks like cottage cheese lumps, is the result of many factors; Poor eating habits, lack of exercise and not enough water intake all contribute to those nasty little lumps. Changing your diet and lifestyle is the most productive way to getting rid of cellulite, but sometimes that’s hard for us. That’s why we use little beauty tips to help us along the way.

FYI: When applied directly to your skin coffee grounds will help your skin appear firm and toned. The coffee grounds will also act as an exfoliant, leaving your skin feeling nice and smooth.

Below is the recipe for my Anti Cellulite Soap Bar; why not give it a try?

All Products can be purchased from Bulk Apothecary
1 cup of CAFFEINATED coffee grounds
MM Old Fashion Soap Bar Mold #42  (my favorite mold for these bars)  FYI: you can use any mold
Spray bottle of rubbing alcohol
This recipe is super easy and works wonders. Your friends will be lining up for these great bars.

Cut 1lb of the oatmeal soap base into small chunks, place into a microwaveable safe glass bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and microwave again for another 30 seconds.  Add 1 black cube to melted soap base and microwave for an additional 30 seconds. ( FYI: All microwaves differ, you may need to adjust the melting time)
Stir soap until completely smooth. (the glass container becomes very hot. Please be careful!)
Next, add 2 drops of Coffee Essential Oil and 1/2 cup coffee grounds . Stir soap mixture. Pour into soap mold.  Repeat this step with remaining ingredients.
Spray rubbing alcohol on top of the soap mold to remove any air bubbles. Wait 4 hours then slowly remove your soap bar.

This soap bar will fill your bathroom with the wonderful aroma of a strong cup of coffee. A great morning pick me up! :)

Enjoy,
Erika
