Self-Love Series: Jasmine Hand and Nail Balm

Now that the stress from the holidays has ended, it’s time to make this year about taking care of yourself. Pampering yourself at home is an inexpensive way to indulge in life’s little pleasures. Today, I have a simple recipe for those dry winter hands. There’s nothing worse than dry cracked knuckles during the cold winter months.
Taking care of your hands will make you feel younger, and it’s a huge plus for your cuticles and nail beds. This recipe will moisturize your hands while keeping them nice and soft. It will also help with extremely dry skin and restore your natural oils.  This balm is such as huge hit at my house that I’ve given it as a gift to everyone in my family… I mean who doesn’t deserve a little self love!

The ingredients above will work wonders on our dry winter skin 🙂
1. Using a kitchen mixer, mix the Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter together for 4-5 minutes.
2. Melt the beeswax granules in the microwave for 15 seconds. Slowly pour into mixture.
3. Add the Jasmine Essential Oil and Jasmine Fragrance Oil.
4. Once mixture is well blended, transfer into a container or jar of your choice. Mixture will harden within a few hours.
Using this terrific smelling balm throughout the day will make your hands feel luxurious. The smell alone is intoxicating!
To gift, I place this balm and other lotions in a clear plastic bag, tie with a bow and add an adorable name tag. It makes it so personal and thoughtful!

  1. For me, it would be very helpful to have an idea what size container I will need to have ready. I hope to make this for myself within the next week. Thank you!

    1. Hello Lorrie,
We recommend either a 4 oz or 8 oz jar, I personally use the 8 oz jars since I have been using this balm on the daily!
