Avocado Oil Avocado Soaps

Spring is arriving soon and we can’t wait! To celebrate, we decided to make something Spring Green! Check out this recipe to make our Avocado Oil Avocado Soaps!

You’ll Need:

-1 lb Melt and Pour Block of Choice (we used the All-Natural White SFIC)

-2 tbsp Shea Butter

– 1 tbsp Avocado Oil

– Matte Green and Yellow Pigment Powder

Shimmer Cappucino Soap Color

-Silicone Oval Mold

-Silicone Ball Mold

Method:

-Cut the Melt & Pour block into smaller, more manageable chunks. Melt in the microwave until there are no lumps, stirring in between intervals.

-Add shea butter and avocado oil. Stir.

-Set aside a small amount of this liquid and add in about half of the Shimmer Soap color cube.

-Then, add about 2 tsp of Matte Green pigment and about 1 tsp of Yellow pigment to other liquid.

-Pour brown, Shimmer colored soap into the ball mold.

-After a few moments, pour the green soap into the oval molds.

-When the balls of brown soap are hardened, press into the oval melt and pour near the top like an avocado seed.

-Twist, if desired, for the avocado soap to look as though the “seed” is stuck into the avocado part.

-Then, allow to set.

-Once fully hard, remove. Bevel if necessary.

-Allow 24 hours before use.
