Meet Marranda and her skincare products that empower women worldwide

This month, we’re thrilled to introduce you to Marranda Sawyer, owner of Comeback Cosmetix, an extraordinary talent in the skincare business. When we spotted her amazing skincare line we knew we had to hear her story and share it with you.
Mirranda, we are so excited to showcase you this month. Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and your skincare brand?
My name is Marranda Sawyer and I am the owner of Comeback Cosmetix. My journey began three years ago. I was struggling with frequent yeast infections and my skin was breaking out significantly. I then began ordering ingredients to help with my skin and created a product from that and it worked. The first product I ever made was our boujee yoni oil. I knew I wasn’t the only woman to struggle with their skin and body so I created comeback cosmetics to help women feel confident about themselves.
What do you love most about creating products and educating others who want to create?
What I love most about creating products is coming up with the name. All of my names are so unique and that’s the fun part about it. My advice to any entrepreneur that wants to create, is to do your research and go for it. Sometimes we Procrastinate too much instead of putting in the work.
What is your favorite product you have created?
My favorite product is our berry bussdown body oil. I love saying the name and love how it smells like something I’ve never smelt before. I literally can’t compare this to any other scent.

As a successful Skincare business owner I am sure other makers starting out come to you for advice. Do you have a favorite part of teaching others?
My favorite part of teaching others is motivating them to not give up. Everything is a learning process even when you don’t understand it.
Absolutely, it is like the saying, “you only fail if you don’t try” What is one piece of advice that has helped you in your business?
Figure it out. That simple. I’ve had so many challenges in my business and I just had to figure out what the solution will be.
What is the most frequently asked question you get and your solution?
I always get how did you start your business. And the simple answer is I just started it. Down the line, I had to figure out what sets my brand apart and just went with that.
What are some of the biggest challenges you and your business face?
Marketing. I think marketing is the most important or at least one of the most important things to understand in business.
Yes, we agree this is true for any business. You can not sell a good product if no one knows you have it.
What is your favorite Bulk Apothecary product and how do you use it in your business?
I love your grapeseed oil. Most other grapeseed oils are dark and green, but yours is the perfect color for my products.

What was your inspiration behind the name of your company?
When I was naming my skincare business, I was also going through a breakup. I felt like I was coming back to me through healing and understanding myself as a person. So That’s where come back came from and cosmetix because we sell cosmetics products.
What is your favorite part of the creative process? Least favorite?
The least favorite is the cleanup process.
Creating products like your skincare line takes creativity. From where do you draw your inspiration?
I draw my inspiration from how I want to be in the future. I don’t look up to anybody I just look up to the woman I want to be in 10 years.
What values does your business embody?
We value ourselves on uniqueness and quality. I don’t see any other brand coming up with names like ours. And our ingredients are incomparable.
Do you have any words of wisdom to offer any aspiring makers?
Don’t be like everybody else. Think about why your brand is different and talk about that all the time to your followers. and Educate yourself on each Ingredient. Make sure you are educated because this is going on people’s skin.
What are your must-have tools and products to have on hand?
I have to have a stand mixer and a filling machine. The ingredient I always have on hand is a body oil. I feel like as a girl you have to have a scent on go always.
