Directions:

I’ve tried this but once it’s done and whipped it starts to melt over again to liquid what do you do to prevent that
Don’t cook it. Put ingredients and bowl in refrigerator before mixing
I double boil the harden butters to melt the butters, then add my oils. I then put them in the refrig. For about an hour. After it get hard I add my fragrance and blend together then put in my jars. As long as it’s not in warm temperature it shouldn’t melt.
Dear Bulk,I really Thank You for this Recipe. This is what I need. I hope it will help to get the Crepe Skin under control on
my hands.
Thanks again

You’re welcome!
I tried this and its very nice, however when can you add scented essential oils? its too ate after it’s whipped.
You can add it in at step 3.
How do I get the body butter into the jars?
You can use a scoop or spoon to scoop it out to place into jars.
What is a good oil to replace almond oil for clients alergic to nuts? Can i replace with jojoba oil and if so, how much to use?
Most of our Bulk Natural Oils are obtained from the seed/nut of the plant/tree, including Jojoba Oil; however, you can try our Rice Bran Oil which is obtained from the husk of the rice. You can use the same amount indicated for the Sweet Almond Oil in the recipe.
Hope this helps!
How do you keep it from melting after it’s whipped? I had the same issue I loved it then it got melty?
You can try putting it in the refrigerator.
I tried a similar recipe, but like everyone else I had trouble with it melting and I didn’t cook it or melt it prior to mixing. Also the greasy residue it left afterwards was the worst.
However, I found Bulk Apothecary’s body butter/heavy cream base to be an absolute miracle! I don’t think I’ll ever use another lotion! I actually made this exact scent using their body butter base and I am completely in love. Thank you Bulk Apothecary!
Thank you for the feedback; glad everything worked out!
Did anyone else have trouble with it being very greasy when applied? The product looks great, but is greasy vs. like a lotion.
What preservatives can I add to this recipe and in what amount? This looks amazing and I can’t wait to make it!
Hi – can I use coconut milk powder in this butter recipe? Thanks.
You can, but it can possibly cause the shelf life to be lowered.
Got it, thanks much for your quick reply!
You’re welcome!
