We’ve been hitting the coconut recipes a lot recently. But, come on, it’s summer! And I’m in Ohio! So, just like the others, this Sweet Coconut Whipped Soap recipe is a reminder of white, sandy beaches, piña coladas, and the relaxing sounds of waves crashing.

So today I whipped up this little slice of summer to feed my need! this Sweet Coconut Whipped soap recipe is so easy to make and will fill your shower with the sweet, tropical scents of summer. If you need a dose of coconut as much as I do, grab these ingredients and make yourself a batch ASAP!

Ingredients:

1 cup Foaming Bath Butter

2 TBS Coconut Oil

2 tsp Vitamin E

1 TBS Coconut Sweet Fragrance Oil

Mini Heremes Jars

Round Brown Kraft Labels

Directions:

Be ready to see this little gem making an appearance in upcoming recipes. I LOVE this fragrance! It’s perfect for all of my summer soaps, lotions and scrubs!

Begin by combining the foaming bath butter, coconut oil, and vitamin E oil in a large bowl. You can add the fragrance oil if you’d like, but I usually whip these ingredients first and then blend in the fragrance. That way I don’t lose any of it at the bottom of the bowl since it’s a very thin liquid.

Using an electric mixer, beat the ingredients together until light and fluffy- like frosting.

Add in the fragrance oil (if you haven’t already) and continue to whip the mixture until all ingredients are well combined. The foaming bath butter has a pretty strong soapy smell to it so I usually use a heavier dose of fragrance to cover the scent when working with it.

Scoop the soap mixture into lidded jars for storage. You want something with a tight seal to keep the fragrance from dissipating. I used two mini Hermes jars and this recipe filled both of them perfectly.

Place in your shower or near a sink and enjoy! To use, gently massage over damp skin and rinse with water. If you’re making this recipe for a gift be sure to give it a cute label to finish the look! I used round brown Kraft labels to print on and smoothed one on the top of each jar.

    1. Hi Michele!

I apologize, but besides the fact that the bases we sell can be used as is, we don’t actually sell soaps; we sell the ingredients to make them.

      Happy creating!

  2. can foaming bath butter be whipped and used to frost cup cake soaps? and will it will it get hard after frosting a few hrs?

    1. Yes, the foaming bath butter can be whipped and used as frosting for cup cake soaps. It can possible get hard enough if frosted for a few hours; but we recommend, waiting until the 4th day to ensure the whipped topping is harden naturally.

  3. I am ready to make this whipped soap however there are some reviews in regards to the bases smell. Is this something that has since been corrected, or do I need to add more fragrance oils?

Most of your products contain the ingredients in the description this however does not. How do I get the ingredient list for the base.
