ShamROCK Soap Recipe
It’s your lucky day! We’re making Shamrock Soap. Keeping up with our St. Patrick’s Day theme, these festive soaps will look great in your bathroom or wrapped as party favors.
This DIY recipe is easy and simple to make and can be used with your favorite scents.
You’ll need:
1 lb Cocoa Butter SFIC (all natural) Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap Base
1/2 tsp. Matte Woodland Green Pigment Powder
5-7 drops Wintergreen Essential Oil
1 lb Clear Stephenson Melt and Pour Soap Base (Crystal ST)
5-7 drops Coconut Lime Verbena Fragrance Oil
Instructions:
Step 1. Cut 1 lb of Cocoa Butter SFIC (all natural) Glycerin Melt and Pour Soap Base and microwave at 30 second intervals until completely melted.
Step 2. Add 1/2 tsp. of Matte Woodland Green Pigment Powder and 5-7 drops of Wintergreen Essential Oil and stir mixture until evenly blended. Tip: You can use any essential oil you prefer. I like the freshness of wintergreen!
Step 3. Carefully pour melted soap mixture into they Rectangle Tray Soap Mold. Once hardened (I started this soap the night before) cut into tiny squares or any shape your prefer.
Step 4. Place the green soaps into the 3 Gem Soap Mold (you can use as many as you wish).
Step 5. Cut 1 lb of the Clear Stephenson Melt an Pour Soap Base (Crystal ST) and microwave for 30 second intervals. Once melted add in the Coconut Lime Verbena
Step 6. Once melted slowly pour into the 3 Gem Soap Mold over the Green Square Soaps. FYI – Spraying alcohol over the mold will prevent bubbling.
Step 7. Once soap hardens, carefully unmold. These soaps can be used at home or packaged and gifted to friends and family!
