We had so much fun making our own car air fresheners with soy wax, fragrance oil, and some string. Check it out!
What You’ll Need
-1 1/2 cups of Soy Wax
-25 drops of fragrance oil of choice (we used Floral Fragrance Oil)
Method
In a microwave safe measuring cup or wax warmer, heat the wax until it is a clear, smooth liquid consistency.
Allow to cool slightly and add fragrance oil. Stir.
Pour gently into oval molds. Allow to set slightly, then sprinkle flower petals on top carefully.
Allow to cool, ideally overnight, before poking a circular hole near the top. Ensure this is a safe distance from the edge of the mold.
Cut a string or ribbon to a length that will fit around rearview mirror. Tie carefully around the hole.
