Thank you for taking the time to share more about your business with the maker community. Could you introduce yourself and share what inspired you to start creating and selling your skincare line?

Hi! My name is Kelly and I’m the founder of EndlessGlo Cosmetics. The idea to start a business came to me back in 2020. I honestly never really thought of owning a business. I originally wanted to be a crime scene investigator. I went to college for criminal justice but eventually decided it wasn’t for me. I then went to beauty school where I was originally going to become a makeup artist and licensed esthetician. I’ve always been into makeup and beauty since I was a little girl. I started learning about skincare and different products, and eventually fell in love with the skincare side more. I started buying body oils and body scrubs, but didn’t like how they smelled or how they felt on my skin. So I figured I would start making my own. I started doing research and taking notes about high quality ingredients and business names during breaks while I was in school. I created an instagram page and eventually launched. I was convinced I was going to blow up and sell out day one lol. I originally started selling eyelashes, body scrubs and body oils. As I continued I discontinued eyelashes, perfected our scrub recipe and added new products along the way. Now we have a whole product line and also offer wholesale for those looking to start their own business. @endlessglowholesale

That sounds like an exciting journey to discovering your passion. What do you love most about creating your products?

What I love most about creating my products is being able to combine different ingredients to make something amazing. I love choosing the fragrance and color for each collection I launch. Once I’ve completed the finished product, I love knowing that what I’ve created becomes part of someone’s daily self-care routine. It makes me happy knowing my customers are happy.

What is one piece of advice that has helped you in your skincare business?

Move like it’s gonna work out because it is. I’ve had a lot of ups and downs in my business. I’ve been stressed, I’ve cried, I’ve worried and in the end it always works out. You have to have faith and know it’s gonna be ok.

Out of all the amazing products you’ve created, what’s your personal favorite?

My personal favorite product I’ve created would be our foaming sugar scrubs. I’ve done a lot of trial and error to make it what it is today and I’m beyond proud of myself. They help cleanse, exfoliate and moisturize the skin so you’re getting all the benefits at once.

What is your favorite Bulk Apothecary product and how do you use it in your business?

My favorite products from Bulk Apothecary are sunflower oil and apricot kernel oil. I use both ingredients to add in my whipped body butter to make them nice and fluffy. The best!

What are some of the biggest challenges you and your business face?

Posting content consistently on social media. Making content and editing videos is very time-consuming.

What was your inspiration behind the name of your company?
When coming up with a name I thought about how our products would make people feel. I knew our products would make our customers skin glow all day long which is where I came up with EndlessGlo.

What is your favorite part of the creative process? Least favorite?
My favorite part would be buying and testing new fragrance oils for upcoming launches. I love shopping for new fragrance oils. As soon as I see it’s delivered I’m running to the mail box to grab them. I get too excited. I’ll open up the package right then and there! My least favorite part is the clean up for sure! The clean up after making a batch of body butters and body oil is a pain because the bowls are oily and usually require a few washes to really clean them. Big thank you to my mom for being part of the clean up crew!
What values does your business embody?
We believe in self love, self worth and self care. Everyone deserves to feel their best. Our products are designed to make daily self care more enjoyable. That’s why we create fun inspired scents like Glazed Donut, Pistachio Macaron and Vanilla Cake Pop. We want our customers to look forward to their self care routine every day.

When working on a new skincare product, where do you draw your inspiration from?
My inspiration comes from holidays and seasons. During spring, summer, fall and winter I like to add new scents that match the season. I really enjoy testing new scents, coming up with names and creating the packaging for them.

Do you have any words of wisdom to offer any aspiring makers?
Start it! Don’t let the what if’s get in the way of your dream. You never know where that business can take you but you have to put yourself out there. Be consistent and keep showing up even when you don’t feel like it. You have customers waiting for you!
It’s been wonderful getting to know more about you and your business! Before we wrap up, can you let everyone know the best way to explore your skincare products and connect with you?
Absolutely! Please feel free to check us out on instagram and TikTok @endlessglocosmetics
