This is a quick and easy recipe for a bath soak that relieves pain and can even help out your immune system. Amyris Essential Oil is the star here, but every ingredient plays a part in the process. From the magnesium flakes to the lavender, the entire ritual just adds to the effect.
As we wrote about earlier this week, Amyris Essential Oil is known for its therapeutic properties. It’s been used for both its pain-relieving and relaxing effects.
Between moving, keeping in shape, and the overall stresses of life, I found this recipe turned my bath into a nice little getaway from reality. It made me feel better mentally, physically, and spiritually.
We allow for any other essential oil to help round out the recipe. Ten drops of Amyris, we found, to be a little strong. It pairs well with patchouli, cedarwood, and citrus.
Ingredients:
2 Tablespoons magnesium flakes
1/2 cup Epsom salt
1 Tablespoon coconut oil
6 drops Amyris essential oil
4 drops essential oils of your choice
2 Tablespoons lavender buds
Directions:
Mix the magnesium flakes and Epsom salt together.
Using a separate glass bowl, combine the essential oils and coconut oil.
Mix the contents of the two bowls together.
Then mix in the dried lavender buds. Spoon the bath soak into a small glass jar or container until ready for use.
To use, simply pour the bath soak into warm running bath water.
We’re sure you’ll enjoy this soak, but the recipes don’t stop here. Find more recipes on our blog and plenty of raw ingredients for bath and body at Bulk Apothecary so you can continue creating.
