DIY Dishwasher Detergent
This DIY dishwasher detergent is sustainable, life-changing, cheap, and easy!
We love when sustainable alternatives aren’t too difficult and SAVE money.
Ingredients
– 2 cups Borax
– 2 cups Baking Soda/ Sodium Bicarbonate
– 20 drops Organic Lemon Essential Oil
– 20 drops Organic Orange Essential Oil
Method
First, add your borax and baking soda to a bowl and mix, breaking up clumps of baking soda to best of your ability.
Next, add lemon essential oil and stir.
Once evenly combined, add in orange essential oil and mix.
Add to air tight container.
Use
Add 1 tbsp of the mixture to the soap compartment of your dishwasher. For more dishes, add a little bit more as needed.
For extra shine consider adding a little ball of tin foil to dishwasher. It makes a HUGE difference!
